Les Studios Du Port De La Lune

The first day when I arrived back in late August, my studio was incredibly dirty and gross :-/ The gardien explained that it was because the last tenant just moved out the same morning and didnt clean the room ( they obviously didnt bother to clean when they were still living in here), meanwhile it was also near back to school day so there were many new tenants coming in, hence he didnt have time to clean it. However, after writing to management about this issue, they did offer to charge me less from that month's rent. Advantages: -There is a free laundry room on the ground floor, next to the laundry room is the garbage room. Makes laundry out of charge and throwing out the garbage very easy. -There is a supermarket right across the street, the studio is also near a tram stop, a bus stop and the train station, which makes grocery shopping and transportation very easy. -The tenants living in the building are all quite sweet and friendly. The gardien is a nice guy too. -There are a lot of plugs on the walls. - The bathroom is rather well decorated. - There is a parking lot ( but you need to pay for your parking spot) - All entrances (from the parking lot to the building) all have a password lock. You need to know the password to open the door, so it is rather safe. Disadvantages: - Although relatively quiet, there is often the sound of a big functioning engine running, I am unsure where this sound is coming from, but I can hear it during both day and night time. The building is quite old and soundproofing is rather average. I can hear noises coming from my upstairs neighbors all the time. - The room's wall has a rough popcorn-like texture, it's impossible to clean and feels quite rough to the skin. - Right across my window is the window of a company's office, hence I always have the blinds covered because of a lack of privacy. - Some tenants smoke pot, the smell comes to my room and makes me feel very uncomfortable. I've tried writing to management but they responded that they could not interfere in this occasion, since they are a residence and not a student residence. - All studios cost the same, but some are bigger than others. Mine is 18m2, but there are rooms that go up to 30m2 yet they all cost the same rent per month. - The desk is really really small...... - The bed is a couch-bed, and is a rather uncomfortable to lay on. I often wake up to a painful back. - There are no range hood above the stove, hence I never cook or fry, otherwise my tiny little room will soon be filled by lingering smell, - The area is unsafe at night, if you are a woman and is choosing to live here, you better get home before dark. I didn't like it at all, I can say the location maybe good because it's close to the main train station in Bordeaux just 1 minute by walking, but it's far from the center and the neighborhood is not good and not safety. The building is very old and need more care and always it's in the dark. No lights. Recommend for short stay just

Lors d'un soucis de fuite d'eau impossible d'avoir quelqu'un au téléphone et le lendemain matin idem et le pire l'eau est coupé C'est inacceptable !!!
